The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, highlighted the artistic career of the Cantor del Pueblo, Ali Primera, 40 years after his planting.
“With a tear for his physical departure, but with a thousand applause for his current and present life, promising that his legacy will continue to stand building the Homeland that Ali dreamed of, which is the Homeland of Bolivar,” said Villegas during a tribute to the Cantor del Pueblo from the Municipal Theater of Caracas.
He stressed that the tribute to Ali represents a tribute to all the people who fought for justice and social welfare during the Government of the Fourth Republic.
He stressed that Ali's work “will be the permanent shield against the deculturalization that new generations have tried to inoculate, above all, so that boys and girls grow up knowing that there is a revered singer in Venezuela with a political and social musical legacy.”
He added that these tributes with dances, songs and music, which began on February 16, will be extended for 40 more days in the national territory as part of the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro.
