Vinotinto Beach Football defeated Peru in the 2025 Copa América

The National Beach Soccer Team defeated their Peruvian counterpart 5-3, in their third appearance at the 2025 Copa América, at the Arena Cavancha in Iquique, Chile.
The first score came courtesy of Alexander Vaamonde in the 7th minute of the first half.
Later, in the second half Venezuela extended the lead with a goal from Aníbal Rivera to 2' and another from Vaamonde to 4' to make the score 3-0.
However, the Peruvians managed to equalize the game, in the second half itself, in the 7th minute Billyvardo Velezmoro scored, 8' Cristian Sialer and 12' Fausto Escobar against.
At the start of the third half, captain from Vinotinto José Betancourt broke the tie in the 1st minute and Carlos Pérez put definitive figures for the match in the 6th minute.
Venezuela has two victories and one loss in the competition. He beat the Paraguay team 7-5 and fell to Brazil 12-3
The next match for Vinotinto will be on Wednesday, February 26 against Argentina at 10:30 in the morning.
