Vinotinto Under-17 Futsal qualified for the semifinals of the discipline's South American tournament after beating Uruguay 2-0.

With goals from Carlos Neus and David Artigas, the Venezuelan national team beat Uruguay and positioned itself as one of the favorites to lift the trophy.

The match was played at the Oscar Harrison COP Arena where Rojas emerged as the game's great hero, making at least six spectacular saves that prevented the Uruguayan tie.

With this result, Vinotinto Under-17 Futsal secures its place among the four best teams in the tournament, and positions itself as the leader of group B with one day left until the end of the group stage.
