The fifth edition of the Viva Venezuela World Festival arrived this weekend in the states of Amazonas, Bolivar and Delta Amacuro, to showcase the richness and diversity of Venezuelan culture, as well as that of native and indigenous peoples.

Music, dance, memory, traditions, crafts and popular knowledge by the cultors of those regions of the country, the audience enjoyed this great cultural festival that opened in Tucupita on Paseo Malecón Manemo, with the presence of the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, in the company of the native peoples.

Through stage presentations, workshops, talks, parades, technical demonstrations of ancient crafts and many other activities, the richness of our roots and the contributions of our creators were brought to the table.

The audience enjoyed everything from traditional rhythms, training activities designed to empower local communities and promote artistic creation from their own roots, to live performances in an extensive program.

This event is part of the eight vertices that make up the Great Mission Viva Venezuela, my Beloved Homeland: Cultures of Venezuela in Movement, Economy for Cultures; Education for the Cultures of Venezuela; More Infrastructure for Culture; Cultures of Venezuela for the whole World, System of Recognition and Social Security for Cultures and Cultures; More Cultural Heritage and Cultures in Permanent Communication.
