VTV, Telesur and TV BRICS sign communication cooperation memorandum

Through his Telegram channel, the Sectorial Vice President of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñ ez, announced that a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the State Television channel, Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Telesur and the international Russian communication platform TV BRICS.
“Venezuela, we arrived in the city of Kazan, in Russia, we will be signing important agreements, one of them that I want to share with you is the alliance that TELESUR and VTV consolidated with the great TV BRICS family,” he said.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the head of the Communication and Information portfolio said that these news channels will be part of the big family of all public and private media.
“They will be part of this media platform, where there will be cultural and informational diversity,” he said and asserted that it is an opportunity to analyze “from the global south how to make the truth of our peoples prevail.”
Ñá ñ ez emphasized that the alliance with this multinational platform is an expression of those who “can advocate for the peoples of the global south”; based on the cultural plurality offered by the city of Kazan.
