Walter Vargas won the fourth stage of the Vuelta a Venezuela

The individual time trial of the fourth stage of the 61st Vuelta a Venezuela was won by Colombian Walter Vargas, from Team Medellín.
With a time of 28 minutes and 43 seconds, Vargas won his 14th victory in the UCI category and his second on Venezuelan soil.
On the podium he was accompanied by his teammates, Javier Jamaica and Samuel Flórez.
With this victory, Vargas became the new leader of the general classification, followed closely by his teammate Javier Jamaica and Luis Mora, from the Bolivarian Government of Trujillo.
The fifth stage, which will take place this Thursday, October 10, with a 144-kilometer route between Barquisimeto and the ruins of the castle of San Vicente.
