Water Ministry presents Sierra Falconiana 500 Water Plan

The Ministry of Popular Power for Water Care presented the 500 Sierra Falconiana Water Plan to spokespersons from the municipalities of Bolívar, Petit, Unión, Sucre and Federación, for the execution of the works for the benefit of 20,750 families.

These works will be carried out by the ministry and the government to solve water service deficiencies in different communities, the ministerial portfolio details in a press release.

The 500 Sierra Falconiana Water Plan contemplates several essential points for the evaluation and survey of two proposals for the Cabure project; the replacement of 400 linear meters of asbestos-cement pipe in the Macuca — La Encrucijada adduction; and the comprehensive rehabilitation of the La Sabanita Pumping Station and its adduction.

In addition, improvements to the José Leonardo Chirinos Water Treatment Plant (MAPARA); the replacement of the transformer bank and maintenance of the El Toro Pumping Station; in addition to well drilling and evaluation of water conditions for the Curimagua community.
