el Mazo Dando, he has demonstrated that “when the Clarín de la Patria calls,
even the mother's song is silent”, as our Liberator Simón
Bolívar said and as the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of
Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, and his team have endorsed him on the occasions when it has been necessary for from this trench, the
truth of the country must be defended in the face of violence and attempts to destabilize the extreme right.
With El
Mazo Dando, it is a program that takes about 100
hours of production and editing; however, on August 3, 2024, Cabello
activated his entire team so that in just about five hours his program
every Wednesday would air in a special edition that Saturday, to show the world the terrorist actions that an opposition sector
promoted to impose its failed script of electoral fraud.
Around
2:00pm, the team, who lives in areas of Caracas and
Miranda, began to be contacted in order to begin the assembly and production of Con El Mazo Dando .
At approximately 3:30 to 4:00pm, the team began working at full speed to
be able, as always, to unmask the extreme right that was firing its artillery
against the Bolivarian Revolution and, above all, to boost morale and give arguments
to our people for the defense of the Homeland against these attacks.
“It was a challenge
because when we prepared a program for a Wednesday we already know the order
and the processes that are taking place and everyone's time is respected, while
that day when they tell us < > and I thought < >, it
was certainly a challenge to do everything to make it work out,” said a member of the team.

That Saturday, the
first part of the production was delivered between 6:30 and 7:00pm and that
special edition of the Mazo kicked off at 8:30pm with the lineup ready and with only two videos finished.
While Cabello welcomed and recounted
the political context the country was going through, the
editing team continued to work during the broadcast to complete the
videos and production.
“Here we are thanks
for coming, we were going to start earlier, but today everything happened to me, because I
went to leave (...) and I didn't have any videos ready (...) so while the videos are being
made I'm going to leave for a while and I sweat like a wretch every
time I'm on those marches and when I arrive there's no water; well I'm going to start reviewing the videos, none have arrived, I'm going
to put on internet, there's no
internet (...),” Cabello said at the beginning of his special program.
He also said what it was like to put together the program that day: “I come to the program without watching
any videos, I sit down to watch the videos and the laptop ran out of battery (...)
but here we are this program is almost ready”.
This is how the special
program of Con El Mazo Dando No. 488 began, with laughter and anecdotes from the captain
of what it was like to overcome any obstacle to fulfill the People
and the Fatherland to come out in defense of the truth of Venezuela.
Cabello and his team demonstrated, once again, that when the Fatherland demanded him, he will be there to fight whatever he has to fight with great commitment and certainty that we are on the right side of history and that on the path of the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez and the Father of the Fatherland: We Will Win!
