With a popular assembly, community members demand justice for President Maduro and Cilia Flores

In an event led by the grassroots and the communal organization, the Self-Government Room of the “Uvencio Querales” Commune, located in the El Goajiro sector, became the center of a day of political concentration this Sunday to reaffirm the defense of national sovereignty and demand freedom for President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores.
Under the slogan “Nicolás, amigo, the commune is with you”, community members welcomed political leaders: Iris Valera, Liaison of the National Directorate of the PSUV Yanys Agüero, Organizer of the PSUV Lara, Elis Silva Daza, mayor of the Simón Planas municipality and members of the PSUV, who took a tour of the facilities of the Self-Government Room, greeting the men, women and children who live in the sector.
At the meeting of support and revolutionary principle, the municipal political leader of Iribarren stressed: “Simón Planas has his communal strength and is an example among municipalities. We have been moving forward because of our political conscience and because Nicolás gave continuity to the project; and he prepared us for difficult moments like this, which we are sure will return victorious”.
In addition, with the community force, the mayor of Simón Planas, stressed that the people must remember the achievements that have been achieved in the country since the arrival of Commander Chávez and the revolutionary continuity given to it by President Nicolás Maduro.
During the popular assembly, young people expressed their feelings for the kidnapping of the Constitutional President and their unrestricted support for Bolivarian work. In this regard, Dailis García, youth leader, commented that she was willing to defend the homeland; and she said that she will continue to work within each territory, “the President is going to return and we know this because there is not a fight that Venezuela has lost. The Venezuelan people will continue to build victories,” he said.
At the same time, the national parliamentarian, Iris Varela, pointed out that imperialist governments have always envied Venezuela for its wealth, “they have also envied this brave, courageous people, the people who do not give up and who will continue to defend the rights of the country and the Constitutional President,” she said.
