In an emotional gesture of international solidarity, the vice-president of the World Federation of Democratic Youth and responsible for the Arab Region, Adnan Al-Mokdad, and the head of International Relations of the Lebanese Union of Democratic Youth, Sukaina Basma, held a fraternal meeting with the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Lebanese Republic, José Gregorio Biomorgi.

The Venezuelan diplomat, in his words of welcome, highlighted the crucial and historic role of youth, as a vanguard in the construction of a new world, of just societies and sovereign states.

Solidarity from Lebanon, a shared struggle

“We are pleased and honored to present to you this manifesto of solidarity,” said Adnan Al-Mokdad, who “is the collective voice of global youth, expressed through its 120 federations. This document, more than a paper, is a message of hope, struggle and fraternity with the heroic Venezuelan people.”

The youth leader rejected interventionist narratives: “Media and political operations that are promoted under supposed humanitarian pretexts, under the false name of 'helping the Venezuelan people', are nothing more than a smokescreen to hide a fundamental objective: the looting of Venezuela's sovereign wealth, such as its oil, minerals and strategic resources. But we, through militant solidarity, know and reaffirm that the Venezuelan people are a strong, united people, aware and prepared to defend their destiny.”

Al-Mokdad concluded his speech with a message of historical certainty: “This people, whom I know very well, will not be defeated, just as imperialism experienced defeat in Vietnam and Cuba, they will also fall and will be defeated in the face of the unwavering firmness of the Venezuelan people. Venezuela will win.”

In turn, Sukaina Basma informed Ambassador Biomorgi about the solidarity preparations and activities being organized in Lebanon in support of Venezuela.

He stressed that this support transcends borders, because “defending Venezuela is defending the sovereignty of all free peoples in the world and their right to decide their own path, without interference or coercion.”

Deep appreciation for international solidarity

The
Venezuelan diplomat expressed his highest appreciation and gratitude for the firm stance of the World Federation of Democratic Youth and the 120 organizations it groups under its banner.

He deeply valued their positions of solidarity, clear and consistent with Venezuela, its legitimate Government and its heroic people.

Biomorgi summarized the latest events in his country, underlining the unwavering strength, iron unity and political conscience of the Venezuelan people, their armed and political forces, all united under the clear leadership of President Nicolás Maduro.

At the end, the representatives of the Federation formally handed over the solidarity document to the Venezuelan ambassador.

Both parties agreed to maintain permanent communication and coordination, working together so that the truth about Venezuela, its struggle and its dignity, is known in every corner of the world.
