XII edition of the Los Teques Theater Festival kicks off this October 9th

The 12th edition of the Los Teques Theater Festival, Miranda state, will begin next Thursday, October 9, with a total of 18 local and metropolitan groups, which will offer art, culture and tradition at the Lamas Theater, Cecilio Acosta Culture House, Plaza Guaicaipura and in a student and community hub.

The festival organized by the Great Viva Venezuela Mission in coordination with the municipality of Guaicaipura, the Somos Guaicaipura Foundation, the Los Teques Theater Movement and the Government, will run until October 19 with a total of 24 presentations.

“Los Teques becomes a large open stage, where children, young people and adults can enjoy the talent of our theater groups and guest casts from Caracas,” said Mayor Farith Fraija.

The opening of the festival will be this Thursday at the Emma Soler Theater (Municipal Performing Arts Company of Guaicaipura) with the play The Little Prince at 4:00 in the afternoon.

Also, on October 10, at the Teatro Lamas (Grupo Cultural Fénix), the play Estallidos will be presented at 5:00 in the afternoon, and will be aimed at people over 14 years of age.

On Saturday, October 11, the performance for children continues in Plaza Guaicaipura with the play Inti and Luna, at 2:00 in the afternoon. On Sunday, the family is invited to the Lamas Theater with the master class “Character Construction”, the appointment is at 9:00 in the morning.

The program will continue until October 19 with a variety of plays for all ages, with the objective of promoting culture and art in the community.
