Yaracuy Literary Marathon 2026 brought together writers and artists in Guama

Literature, theater and music were found in a special edition of the Yaracuy Literary Marathon 2026, held at the Cosmaguae Cooperative Center in Guama, Antonio José de Sucre municipality, where writers from the entity shared their works with the community.

During the day, publications by Alexis Morey, Eterminio Sánchez, Iris Guevara, Jesús Castillo, Lilisbet Salcedo, María Lucía Martínez, Norge Brito, Omar Quintero, Roberto Rodríguez and Vianney Hernández were presented, who also received certificates for their participation in the meeting.

The program also included the presentation of the monologue “Faustino Parra”, by the Guama “Carmelo Fernández” Theater Company, as well as a show of music and dance starring children from the El Jobito community of San Felipe.

The meeting was moderated by Roberto Rodríguez, official chronicler of the Sucre municipality, and was attended by Jairo Brijaldo, coordinator of the Book, Reading and Thought Platform of the Cabinet of Culture in Yaracuy, and J esús Castillo, representative of the Editorial Foundation The Dog and the Frog in the entity.
