The Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) carried out an activity at the facilities of the Padre José Manyanet School in the state of Amazonas, in order to strengthen students' early scientific and technological approach.
Young people were the protagonists, who actively participated in spaces for dialogue and reflection as part of the national detachment of the National Scientific Seed Program.
The activity, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), was aimed at the first, second and third years of General Secondary Education and they were able to explore their interests in areas such as biotechnology, robotics, astronomy and social research with territorial relevance.
FUNDACITE Amazonas provided discussions and pedagogical experiences adapted to the local context, thus promoting critical thinking, scientific curiosity and commitment to the sustainable development of the region.
This action is part of the national policy of territorialization of knowledge, promoted by the MINCYT, which seeks to democratize access to science and sow early vocations throughout the country.
