Spokesmen of the “Antonio Cermeño” Neighborhood Youth Foundation, attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, were in the Magdaleno parish of the Zamora municipality, Aragua state, where they organized a tribute to Oliver Garzón through a Community Caimanera of Pelotica e Goma -Inter- Nodules, in order for more than 150 young people from the entity to play traditional games in the neighborhoods.
It is worth noting that Oliver Garzón was alive a Young Man from the Neighborhood rescued by the Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez, in the center of Caracas, so this tribute, in which spokespersons from the regional management of MINCOMUNAS, JPSUV and the GREEN PARTY participated, also served to share and discuss the 7 Transformations for the country while enjoying the Caimanera Comunal.
In this regard, José Luis Lugo, national president of this Foundation, informed young people that these types of sports activities that take place throughout the country demonstrate “that not everything in the neighborhood is bad”. “Just like you are here today, there are young people all over the country playing; some basketball and others soccer,” he said.
In the same way, the deputy Gabriela Peña, who is part of the Political Council of the FJDB, said that youth must be the example for the new generations.
“Sport allows boys, girls and others to see the positive side of finding us,” he stressed.
For his part, Diego Lara, state director of JDB in Aragua, said that they pay homage to a brother who accompanies us from heaven. “A brother who was rescued and transformed by the Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez,” he stressed.
In addition, the young Kevin Peñaloza, a member of the Magdaleno team, winner of the Caimanera Comunal, was enthusiastic about the traditional sports approach. “It's great that these activities are done for the People and it's something that should be done more often because it's fun, sometimes you walk around doing nothing and with this you're entertained.”
At the same time, he thanked the Movement for bringing this type of activity, as well as inviting them to work, study or simply play some sport.
