The Bolivarian Government carried out a technical inspection at the Yutong assembly plant, located in Yaracuy state, with the objective of activating a medium-term production plan and optimizing the public transport system throughout the territory.

The working day focused on the evaluation of strategic operational areas and the operation of the internal service station for state operator units.

The established roadmap contemplates the increase in the assembly of various bus models and the recovery of the existing fleet.

According to the authorities, the project seeks to transform the facility into an industrial development pole that generates employment and reduces dependence on imports by linking it with the national auto sector.

Héctor Rojas Rodríguez, president of the plant and Deputy Minister of Land Transport, received the technical committee to oversee the maintenance protocols.
