Zulia: 151 cardiological patients were treated through the Zuliano Heart Plan

A total of 151 cardiological patients were treated through the Zuliano Heart Plan, since its inception in 2025, according to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Última Noticias.

In this regard, it became known that over the course of 2026 there were 23 isolated cases and on August 5, on a special day, 48 catheterizations were performed on an equal number of patients.

In addition, 114 patients are being evaluated in the entity “to determine if they are candidates for catheterization, for catheterization plus angioplasty and pharmacological stenting or for other types of more complex cardiovascular interventions”.

The governor, Luis Caldera, explained that these are patients who have come to the state government and to the 1×10 Good Governance platform,” while adding that these “days of mass surgery are possible thanks to an alliance between the private sector and the government of the state.
