A shipment with 13.3 tons of solidarity aid from Luxembourg arrived in the national territory, as part of the international cooperation mechanisms activated to provide comprehensive care to the population affected by recent seismic events.
The official offices explained that the shipment includes a strategic supply of essential medical supplies, emergency assistance kits, portable electric generators and logistical support tools designed especially for operational deployment in areas with the greatest impact.
The prevention authorities emphasized that this specialized equipment and instruments will immediately strengthen the response capacities of the security and rescue forces deployed in the field, optimizing energy and health supplies in the most vulnerable sectors.
This important contribution is added to the various manifestations of international humanitarian assistance that continue to enter the country in a coordinated manner, consolidating global technical support for communities affected after the earthquake of last June 24.
