89th National Prosecutor's Office will investigate pedestrian closure in Waraira Repano

The Public Ministry (MP) appointed the 89th National Prosecutor's Office, specialized in Environmental Defense, to investigate and punish the events reported through social networks, related to the closure of the pedestrian crossing of the Waraira Repano National Park in the Zamurito sector , Guatire, Miranda state.

The information was released by the attorney general, Tarek William Saab, through his Instagram account, where he stressed that for years the aforementioned pedestrian crossing of the lung park in the city of Caracas has been accessible to the public.

In addition, with regard to the fight against drug trafficking, he indicated that Yorvi Rodríguez, who intended to transport 2.9 kg of marijuana, hidden in a paint container, was deprived of his liberty.
