African countries review energy areas with Vice President Rodríguez

The executive vice-president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodrpiguez, in her work agenda in Austria, held a meeting with her counterparts from Congo, Bruno Jean-Richard, and from Nigeria, Heineken Lokpobiri, with the purpose of reviewing the strategic areas of the bilateral line in energy matters.
From her telegram channel, the senior Creole official reported that she also met with the Secretary General of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries (GECF), Mohamed Hamel, the Minister of Hydrocarbons of the Republic of Congo, Bruno Itoua, the Secretary General of the African Petroleum Producers Organization (APPO), Omar Farouk Ibrahim and the president of the African Energy Chamber, NJ Ayuk
From the city of Vienna, the meeting also served to discuss various bilateral issues, as well as the joint cooperation between Venezuela and Congo, for the shared benefit of its peoples, especially in the field of hydrocarbons and forest resources.
The also holder of the Hydrocarbons portfolio outlined plans for cooperation between the two nations for the energy sector and reviewed joint alliances.
In 2021, Venezuela became the first non-African country to join the APPO as an observer, and since then, it has consolidated a strong bilateral friendship with this important international organization.
