All Ready! Active community members for the Popular Consultation of the next 27-A

The Minister of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, reported that community members are active in carrying out the National Popular Consultation, which will take place on April 27.

“We already have the conditions for an extremely successful process and all the institutions involved work together with the People's Power to ensure that this great mobilization is a success,” he said in a telephone contact with Venezolana de Televisión.

He recalled that popular activity will have 5,718 electoral centers, 7,438 authorized polling stations and 5,338 communal circuits.

He emphasized that these elections are for the people to participate and to be able to exercise their right to vote and prioritize their projects, which will be funded by the National Government.

He also stressed that it is an electoral holiday that “positions the democratic nature of our political model and that the people are valid and legitimate, who have also given excellent results”.

Prado specified that these actions of participatory democracy are applauded by the Venezuelan people. “A method proposed by President Nicolás Maduro for this third term of government, who wants to execute 70% of the national budget with the People's Power,” he said.

“Our people are happy to participate massively, expressing the democratic nature of our revolution,” he said, adding that today Venezuela has succeeded in building the call for the care that the country deserves from popular power, to “be protagonists of the transformation with the will of the people”, with the reactivation of popular power and the socialization of decisions.
