Alternative and Popular Communicators demand that the United States cease its aggressions against President Maduro

“Defending the truth means defending the homeland. We demand a permanent communication battle to dismantle all lies and strengthen conscience,” said the Alternative and Popular Communicators, who reiterated their support for the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, in the face of recent attacks by North American imperialism.

“We demand that the United States government cease its attacks against President Nicolás Maduro Moros,” they said in a statement.

They denounced the accusations against the Venezuelan head of state as part of a strategy of systematic destabilization aimed at weakening the country's institutions through disinformation campaigns and internal alliances with opposition sectors.

In this regard, they emphasized that the attack is not only political, but symbolic, and that the defense of the truth must become a collective task, from community media to social networks, including streets and public demonstrations.

They called for a communication offensive aimed at dismantling colonial narratives.

“The People have the right to free, truthful and committed communication to their struggles. We will not allow the narrative of imperial power to prevail,” they said.
