The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry for Science and Technology (MINCYT) and its affiliated entities, delivered certified seeds and agroecological inputs with the objective of strengthening agricultural production in the Amazon.

In the Kuwei commune, located in the Atures municipality, a group of indigenous producers received a total of 250 kilos of certified seeds together with agricultural inputs.

During this day, as part of the Scientific-Peasant Alliance, educational talks were offered on sustainable agriculture techniques and the optimization of the use of natural resources. These activities sought to empower producers to maximize the benefits derived from the inputs delivered.

According to a MINCYT press release, indigenous producers expressed their gratitude to the National Government for the support provided, stressing that these actions contribute to improving crops and ensuring food security in their communities.

In parallel, 180 kilos of corn seeds and bioinsecticides were distributed to a group of 36 producers in the Cerro Perico community. This support was accompanied by training aimed at optimizing the appropriate use of the resources provided.

This delivery marks the third distribution of corn seeds carried out in the Fernando Girón Tovar parish, consolidating itself as part of a government strategy that reinforces its commitment to food sovereignty and the promotion of productive development in the Venezuelan countryside.
