AN approved the appointment of Stella Lugo as Venezuelan ambassador to Mexico

The National Assembly (AN) approved the authorization to appoint citizen Stella Lugo as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the United Mexican States.
In this regard, the second vice-president of the Standing Committee on Foreign Policy, Sovereignty and Integration, Deputy Roy Daza, who presented the report of the executive appointment and highlighted Lugo's diplomatic trajectory.
“We interpret that this designation of Stella Lugo represents a very important point for the development and promotion of relations with our Mexican brothers,” Daza emphasized.
For his part, the president of the AN, Jorge Rodríguez, highlighted the approval of the Government of Mexico that issued Stella Lugo to assume this diplomatic position in Aztec lands.
“We interpret as a gesture the deepening and integration of our peoples and governments and the search for a better world,” he said.
Previously, Stella Lugo served as Ambassador of Venezuela to Argentina and as head of the Francisco de Miranda Insular Territory, which includes the archipelagos of La Orchila, Las Aves and Los Roques.
