AN approved the Partial Reform Act of the Organic Law on Communal Justice of Peace

The National Assembly (AN) approved by qualified majority the Law on the Partial Reform of the Organic Law of Justice of the Communal Peace, in accordance with the provisions of article 106 of the Internal Regulations and Debates.

“Let it not remain a dead letter, let it go to every corner, let it go to every town. Let's monitor the approval of its regulations after it is enacted by President Nicolás Maduro,” emphasized parliamentary authority Jorge Rodríguez.

He assured that this law will be fundamental in the process of adjustment and revolution of the Judiciary.

The purpose of the Partial Reform Act of the Organic Law of Community Peace Justice is to organize and improve the community justice system of peace in Venezuela. This reform modifies and establishes aspects related to the instances of organization and operation in the communal territories.
