This Monday, the Thin Commission of the National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved that the Head of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, go to the Attorney General's Office to apply the Simon Bolivar Liberation Organic Law against a group of citizens who claim to be deputies of the Extinct AN of 2015 who request a blockade against the country.

Rodríguez presented a letter as proof of those who claim to be deputies of the National Assembly providing Francisco Palmieri, head of the supposed United States Foreign Office Mission for Venezuela, with funding to continue attacking the country.

“This what I have here (Letter) is a tribute to the universal history of infamy. It was signed by a supposed National Assembly and is dated December 19, 2024. They broke into a McDonald's bathroom in Florida to convene a secret session with others in a bathroom in the Community of Valencia in Spain, they proclaimed themselves the only existing democratic institution in Venezuela,” Rodríguez denounced.

He stressed that these deputies of the defunct Assembly of 2015 receive 5 thousand dollars with an item called Guardians of Democracy.

“This letter is a reliable demonstration that what is established with regard to political disqualification, extinction of domination, and criminal offences must be immediately applied to Mrs. Dinora Figuera, Mrs. Marianela Fernández and Mrs. Auristela Velásquez, to explain it immediately because of this rejection of this demonstration of barbarism and infame,” he emphasized.
