The National Assembly (AN) condemns and rejects new interfering actions by the United States Government against Venezuelan public officials.
“This new attack by the masters of the Venezuelan fascist extreme right corresponds to the desperation they have when they see that their lackeys in Venezuela do not show satisfactory results for their imperial pretensions, so the Government of the United States of America continues to assume the well-known unilateral, illegal, illegitimate and extraterritorial coercive measures, which flagrantly violate the principles of international law,” says part of the statement.
The following is a full statement from the National Assembly:
The National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela condemns and rejects, in the strongest terms, the continuous and permanent aggression by the supremacist Government of the United States of America, this time by imposing unilateral coercive measures against worthy and courageous Venezuelan public servants, such as the First Vice President of the National Assembly, Deputy Pedro Infante.
This new attack by the masters of the Venezuelan fascist extreme right corresponds to the desperation they have when they see that their lackeys in Venezuela do not show satisfactory results for their imperial pretensions, so the Government of the United States of America continues to assume the well-known unilateral, illegal, illegitimate and extraterritorial coercive measures, which flagrantly violate the principles of international law, as well as the norms and principles that govern peaceful relations between States with the nefarious intention of intimidating and intimidating the Venezuelan people.
From the legitimate and sovereign National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, we tell the decadent empire of the United States of America and its European lackeys that there are no unilateral coercive measures to stop the libertarian and independence course taken by the Venezuelan people. Therefore, we express our unrestricted support and solidarity with the Venezuelans who this time were attacked by the irrational stance of the northern supremacist empire.
The National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela demands full respect for the country's institutionality and we reiterate to the world that more than 200 years ago we ceased to be a colony thanks to the will and struggle of our people and for this reason we do not accept, nor will we accept, the interference of foreign powers in our internal affairs, nor any neocolonial subordination.
Caracas, September 13, 2024
