ARAGUA-MARACAY/Governor Sánchez: We Have the Compass, the Plan and the People

This Friday from the Los Cocos sector in the capital of the state of Aragua, the campaign of the candidates of the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB) began in the state.

The governor of the entity Joana Sánchez stated that “we have the compass, the plan and the people. We are going to sweep!”

The candidate for the Girardot municipality, Rafael Morales brought together supporters and community leaders under a discourse of unity, collective project and radical transformation of municipal management. 

 Sánchez called for the vote for Morales, assuring that all the GPPSB candidates for mayors in Aragua are marching “aligned under a single project.”

In his speech, Rafael Morales emphasized the need to break with old schemes, “we must learn to unlearn, leave behind what doesn't work for us and make way for a new way of governing (...) We are the men and women who defended Maracay on July 30 and defeated the fascists.”

Morales assured that his administration will seek to deepen changes: “we will transform the mayor's office into communal self-government rooms, after July 27, it will be governed by the people, not by magnanimous chiefs.”
