Aragua women's national team and Lara men's national field hockey champions

The women's team from Aragua and the men's team from
Lara were entitled as National Field Hockey champions, played at the facilities of the Aquilino Juares de
Cabudare Sports Center, in the Palavecino municipality of the state of Lara.
The event was attended by
delegates from seven entities in the country.
The women's category was dominated by the
state of Aragua after winning the final 3-1 over Yaracuy, while
third place went to represent Lara who defeated Barinas 1-0.
Irismar Vargas (Aragua) won the tournament's Most Valuable Player award, while her teammates Julie Artigas and
KimRoa took the lead in goals and the award for Best Goalkeeper of the tournament, respectively.
In the men's category, the state Lara I won the decisive match 5-2 against its counterpart Lara II. The podium was completed by the Yaracuy team with a 4-0 victory over Barinas.
The Most Valuable
award went to Lara I's player, Eliver Mujica, who
was accompanied by his teammate Yeiver López as the top scorer and the
yaracuyaño Brahyan Escalona as the most outstanding goalkeeper in the competition organized by the Venezuelan Field Hockey Federation.
