This Wednesday, the Buenos Aires Police once again repressed retirees and demonstrators in Argentina, who are gathering near the Parliament to demand their retirees, drug coverage and cuts at the National Institute of Social Services for Retired and Pensioned Persons (PAMI).
For the third consecutive week, the members of the security forces suppressed the march of retirees every Wednesday using claps, tear gas and other repressive materials.
The retirees were also beaten, while the police were trying to clear Entre Ríos Avenue, in line with the Anti-Protest Protocol imposed by the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich.
Precisely when the march arrived from Hipolito Yrigoyen to Entre Ríos, a command of the motorized Federal Police began to go around in circles to prevent the mobilization from going down to the street and cutting off any of the lanes, explained Page 12.
“They threw gas at me, I'm a press worker. I work with a mask, but they took advantage of it when I went to help a colleague and they threw gas at me,” a photojournalist reported to C5N's cell phone.
