This Friday, Argentine demonstrators, called by combative unions, took to the streets across the country against Javier Milei's labor reform and were suppressed by police officers in various parts of the city of Buenos Aires while marching to the Senate or blocking roads.

From the early hours of the morning, workers, retirees and members of various groups staged cuts in the Obelisk, Panamericana and other parts of the country, such as La Plata, Córdoba, Mendoza, Mar del Plata, Neuquén, Jujuy and Bahía Blanca.

Police officers decided to use clubs, sticks, pepper spray and rubber bullets, and the officers beat the demonstrators, unhappy with a law that they consider regressive in terms of labor rights and that will increase inequality and precariousness.

In videos released through social networks and the press, agents are seen pushing, kicking and spraying pepper spray on citizens protesting against the controversial project, which is awaiting final approval in Congress.

The demonstrators have described the law as enslaving; for this reason they demanded the reopening of FATE Tires, an emblematic industry that was arbitrarily closed days ago, whose more than 900 dismissed workers are still in resistance.
