The Attorney General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, denounced the links between the governments of El Salvador and the United States with the criminal organization Mara Salvatrucha, and rejected the actions of President Nayib Bukele in forced disappearances of Venezuelans.

The senior official participated this Monday in the program of the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, With Maduro + opportunity in which he indicated that the US authorities did not follow judicial processes or legal guarantees, so it cannot be considered a formal deportation.

The attorney general commented that to date the Public Ministry has collected more than 100 names based on complaints from family members who identified their relatives in videos and posts on social networks.

Saab called on the international community to isolate President Nayib Bukele, whom he described as a “dictator and criminal” for his involvement in these human rights violations and for his collaboration in a pact with the United States to transfer Mara Salvatrucha leaders from U.S. prisons to El Salvador.
