Bolivarian Government activated Operation Caracas Smile in La Vega parish

The Bolivarian Government activated Operation Caracas Smile in the parish of La Vega, which provides comprehensive care for citizens who live in the multiple sectors of the capital city.

The activation was carried out by the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, who explained that so far they have been deployed in 11 parishes and 19 communal circuits listening to the needs of the people with direct contact, from the streets and meeting not only with citizens but with the care of more than 1,500 pets.

“The team from the Mayor's Office of Caracas carried out the deployment and approach in areas of health, with mobile units for dentistry, gynecology and general medicine, where the delivery of supplies and medications was also guaranteed,” said Meléndez.

He also highlighted that for 23 continuous days they have been deployed in different communities. “We are taking care of our people, here not even the kitten is spared, we have treated more than 1500 animals,” he emphasized.

He stated that as part of the seven transformations, the rehabilitation of common spaces, facades of houses and shops was channeled.

“It was also aimed at providing solutions in the area of security, transport, public services, to raise the quality of life of inhabitants of different sectors,” he announced.
