Bolivarian Government activated second phase of the Emergency Plan due to rains in Apure and Guárico

Raúl Paredes , head of the Ministry of Popular Power for Housing and Habitat and president of the Great Mission Barrio Nuevo, Barrio Tricolor (GMBNBT), reported that construction materials were distributed to houses affected by the floods in Apure and Guárico.
Paredes highlighted the delivery of materials and equipment to serve areas affected by the rains. He stressed that, in the first phase, soil restoration, road repair and bridge rehabilitation work was carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works.
The second phase involves interventions related to housing, with the coordinated participation of national, state, municipal and community agencies. It is expected to serve more than 177 sectors, prioritized according to exposure and need.
The initial intervention included direct assistance in El Campito, in the municipality of Camaguán, and the provision of equipment in both regions, in accordance with technical requirements.
Paredes highlighted the commitment of the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, to the population, despite external pressures, reiterating the Government's focus on a comprehensive response to climate emergencies.
