Bolivarian Government activates ODDI in Barinas state

On the morning of this Saturday, October 18, the Integral Defense Management Body (ODDI) was activated in the state of Barinas for the defense of peace and sovereignty, as part of the Independence 200 plan, instructed by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro.

In this regard, the governor of the entity Adán Chávez declared that “we are in perfect popular, military and police union and from now on with greater strength to activate our ODDI. This is an integration where we continue to perfect our civic-military organization to face any contingency that may arise on the ground.”

He added that “we have held a day starting in the early hours of the morning with a working meeting for strategic planning and then a two-kilometer march hand in hand with the People (...) People with uniform and without uniform, a single mass aware of the situation we are experiencing, deployed in each and every one of the municipalities of the entity. We continue to advocate for peace and are winning it, but without trusting each other.”

For his part, the military leader of the ZODDI, Pablo Lisano added that “we are in active resistance and in permanent offensive within the framework of the Independence 200 plan, we are beginning an exercise to deconcentrate personnel, combat vehicles and logistics to preserve ourselves in the event of a hypothetical air attack against our country. The Venezuelan people in absolute rejection of aggression against our country in defense of the most precious asset that we inherit from our liberators, which is independence.”
