The governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, reported that more than 800 linear meters of pipes have been replaced as part of the final work to guarantee the Paseo de Macuto water system.

“Pipeline adduction represents one of the pillars of this project and a commitment to the well-being of Guaíreños and visitors; in this labor inspection, we agree with the Minister of People's Power for Water Care, Carlos Mast Yustiz, with whom we reviewed the supply of drinking water, sewage and rain that in some cases have required the replacement of more than 800 lines of pipes,” he said.

He indicated that these improvements are essential for the operation of basic services on Paseo de Macuto, a project that covers more than 16 hectares.

“Nobody said it would be easy, but we are putting our soul into every detail to fulfill this historic debt to our people. More than 500 workers make up the crews deployed in three shifts, day and night, that extend until the early hours of the morning as part of a collective effort between the national, regional and municipal governments,” he said.
