Bolivarian Government attends health day to indigenous populations in the Amazon

Through the health portfolio, the Bolivarian Government is developing a deployment in the state of Amazonas to serve indigenous populations that are difficult to access.

These are the Piapoco and Curripaco communities in Laja Lisa, Ucata parish of the Atabapo municipality. They also reached the indigenous population of the Marawaka parish in the Alto Orinoco municipality to provide health surveillance.

On the other hand, in this Easter Week 2025, the staff of the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI), attached to the State Directorate of Health in the state of Barinas, continues to be deployed in the state's 17 Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC), rivers and spas with the placement of toxoid and routine vaccines.

The information was released by the state coordinator of PAI Barinas, Florizel Castilla, after specifying that routine vaccines are indicated for boys and girls, aged between 2 months and 6 years, respectively.
