The Bolivarian Government began Operation Sewing on the Caño Seco embankment, where water flows to Ciudad de Otters, Barinas state.
This was reported by the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, who stressed that the operation is carried out in perfect civic-military union and with the support of organized Popular Power.
The minister explained that this operation consists of covering all the openings in the Caño Seco embankment.
“On a map, we mark all the points, which are a vulnerable front and will be blocked through this deployment that seeks to counteract rising waters. We're still in battle!” , he said.
