Bolivarian Government began renovation of MERCAL in Charallave

On instructions from the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, work began to recover MERCAL, located on Cristóbal Rojas Avenue in Charallave, Miranda state.

‎El On October 16, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced a strategic plan for the total reactivation of the Venezuelan Food Producer and Distributor (PDVAL) and Food Market (MERCAL) market network throughout the country.

‎El plan projects that by the year 2026, 100% of these centers will operate under a social economy scheme and communal circuits, guaranteeing access to products at fair prices and encouraging domestic production.
