Bolivarian Government delivers fully rehabilitated sports court in Los Altos de Lídice in Caracas

The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports, recovered and handed over the Campo Elías sports court, located in the Altos de Lídice in the Catia parish of Caracas.

The reinauguration was led by the Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Arnaldo Sánchez, together with the vice-president of the National Assembly, Pedro Infante.

In addition, more than 70 athletes from the Elias Lídice Field Volleyball school were present.

During the activity, the Minister made a donation of more than 20 volleyball balls.

“Boys and girls from all over the community live on this court who practice different disciplines and it's very important to continue promoting sports,” said Sánchez, according to the Ministry of Sports Press.

The Minister announced the start of a whole plan for sports mass expansion and next year (2025). “We started with the Community Leagues in various disciplines,” he said.
