The Bolivarian Government installed a video surveillance system in Isnotú, consisting of 18 cameras distributed at strategic points in the town. The measure is part of the security plan for the canonization of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández.

The governor of the state of Trujillo, Gerardo Márquez, reported that spaces are continuing to be adapted to receive those who come to worship the Venezuelan doctor.

During the day, the regional president took a tour of the Rafael Rangel municipality, where he inspected infrastructure and road works in progress.
