Bolivarian Government organizes activities to celebrate 500 years of the city of Coro

The Bolivarian Government is planning a varied
agenda of activities for what will be the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of
the city of Coro, declared in 1993 by UNESCO as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
This was announced by the governor of the
state of Falcón, Víctor Clark, through his account on the social network Instagram, in
which he stressed that he held a working meeting with Minister Ernesto Villegas
and the mayor of Coro, Henry Hernández, to organize what will be the activities.
“We had an important
working meeting with the Minister of Culture Ernesto Villegas and Mayor Henry Hernández
to organize the agenda for the 500 years of our city of Coro, with the
support of our president Nicolás Maduro, articulating the actions that in the
area of heritage, cultural promotion, tourism and history we will work
these years with actions that allow us to promote our heritage city
from above,” he said.
For his part, Villegas highlighted that Coro
has a great history and the 500 years of its administrative foundation will be the
perfect excuse to show all the historical charm that this city has and the cultural
roots that this beautiful place in the Venezuelan geography has.
