Bolivarian Government provided housing to families in Mérida affected by heavy rains

The Revolutionary Government, through the Great Venezuela Housing Mission (GMVV), provided housing to families that were damaged as a result of heavy rains in the Rangel municipality in the state of Mérida.
The delivery was made by the governor of the entity Arnoldo Sánchez, and the Minister of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing (MINHVI), Raúl Paredes.
During the activity, they announced the start of a housing project in this jurisdiction that will benefit more than 40 families that were affected in this axis, according to the MINHVI press.
“Simultaneously, in the La Asomada sector, we are also going to start 10 homes the day after tomorrow; some of the material is already here, another one is on its way, as fast as you require of us and that's how it's going to be,” Paredes explained.
In addition, the Rehabilitation Plan was initiated for homes that suffered minor or moderate damage in any way.
In this regard, Paredes indicated that Governor Sánchez received part of the material so, together with the Andes 2025 Task Force, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the GMVV, the Directorate of Infrastructure, mayors and the People's Power are deployed in the territory to respond immediately to the needs of the people.
This delivery is part of the first advance of the Revolutionary Government's response to the damage caused by tropical wave number 9, which in its wake left 595 homes partially and severely damaged, 106 in total loss.
