Bolivarian Government reactivated vehicle passage to the Town of Apartaderos in Mérida

The governor of the state of Mérida, Arnaldo Sánchez, reported that the passage to the Town of Apartaderos was reactivated thanks to the hard work carried out by the popular force, the military, the Civil Protection, the Fire Department and the organized community.
Speaking to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he said that “our community, our people, who also live here and who provided all their equipment, all their manpower, to be able to say today that we already have an open passage; they can now move cars, trucks, loads. In fact, with the crops of our producers, our producers.”
He specified that work has been carried out for about 143 hours, so that the people had access to the bridge, and he assured that the work continues, so that the area does not remain in poor condition.
“We are continuing with pipeline work, with work to reinforce the bridge and we are still here with our people,” he added.
He also indicated that representatives of various organizations that support the community and are working to resolve the situation, as well as the impact on the roads.
“We want to thank you from here, from the Páramo de Mérida, from Apartaderos, to President Nicolás Maduro, because from the outset, not only did he guarantee all the equipment and not only sent our ministers here, but he has also guaranteed us great resources so that we can resolve the damages and so that our road, so that our Transandina is the best road we have in Venezuela,” he stressed.
He also pointed out that after these effects, Mérida will become a more beautiful, more extraordinary entity, “a Mérida that has much more to give to Venezuela and to the world.”
“With our producers, with our peasants and peasants, because we do carry our blood, that peasant blood, that productive blood that will move Mérida and the country forward,” he emphasized.
Apartaderos was one of the sectors that was heavily affected by the emergency situation in the Merida region due to the rains.
