The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Water Care (MINAGUAS), rehabilitated the La Chara Drinking Water Pumping Station, located in the La Peñita sector, Cristóbal Rojas municipality of Miranda state.

“This project makes it possible to optimize the supply of drinking water for 450,000 inhabitants of the municipalities of Cristóbal Rojas, Rafael Urdaneta and Tomás Lander,” said MINAGUAS through the social network Threads.

The recovery work was activated through the installation of three pumping groups with a total capacity of 700 hp, of which two are operational for a total flow of 650 liters per second (LPS), and one more as a reserve group

In addition, an 80 MVA transformer was installed, which significantly improves the stability of the electrical system in the La Chara Pumping Station, Pumping Station 32 and the Caujarito Water Treatment Plant.
