Brazil's airline, Gol, confirmed its resumption of regular direct flights between the Federal Republic and Venezuela starting on August 5 of this year.

The company will establish a connection between São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) and Maiquetia Simón Bolívar International Airport (MIQ) in Caracas.

As proposed, the route will have four weekly frequencies with operations on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, where modern Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft will fly, equipped with the capacity to carry 186 passengers each way.

In this way, the Venezuelan market is reactivated, because Gol offers customers an extensive network of destinations both within Brazil and in various Latin American countries.

An additional factor that increases Brazil's attractiveness for Venezuelan citizens is the visa-free policy for tourists of Venezuelan nationality, similar to that implemented by Colombia.
