During the graduation ceremony of 211 men and women as Special Tactical Operators, the sector vice president of Policy, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, announced the early inauguration of a Hospital Center for Specialized Medical Care for police officers and tactical bodies.

“I announce it here today, in the coming days, with all the support we have had from brother President Nicolás Maduro: it's already working, but we're going to start having specialized medical services for police officers. We already have it in Valencia, in Maturín, here in Caracas, we are going to Puerto La Cruz, which we are already starting,” said Cabello.

He specified that the new center in Caracas has 17 floors fully equipped to provide comprehensive care. Cabello extended an invitation to officials to learn about the facilities located “out there because they go to the CNE (National Electoral Council), to the Bolivar, and they go astray there in the end, holding on to the right hand... that's yours. That's where the great health care center for law enforcement officers is going to be.”

Cabello explained that the healthcare space also includes members of the special operations groups of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), in what he described as “a beauty” built with the joint effort of the National Executive. “We are in the endowment stage. They can go see it, review it... they're going to be amazed,” he said.

During the event, he congratulated the new group of Special Tactical Operators for their dedication and discipline. He also reported that a new training course will begin as part of the strengthening of the citizen security system.
