The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, announced that on Thursday, June 18, 253 compatriots will arrive in Venezuelan territory through a new flight of the Plan Back to the Fatherland from Mexico.
During the speech of his Con El Mazo Dando #531 program, Cabello explained that 17 children will arrive on that flight.
He also highlighted that last Tuesday, June 17, 135 Venezuelan returnees arrived at Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetia from the United States, who were deported amid the immigration policies of the Donald Trump administration.
“We were preparing to receive 239 Venezuelans and only 135 arrived. The management of the information they give us is not responsible. They make us move a big plane and they send fewer people, they lack seriousness,” he criticized.
He emphasized that the issue of migrants in the United States is a business. “They don't grab people and take them to a jail, they take them to a company's premises and the longer that company has it, the more money it gets,” he said.
Through the Plan Back to the Fatherland, nearly 6,000 Venezuelans have returned to the country.
