Cabello: Carlos Ocariz handed over Caguaripano to be on good terms with the Government

This Wednesday, August 26, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, revealed that Carlos Ocariz, in order to “be on good terms with the Bolivarian Government, handed over Juan Caguaripano”.

“Caguaripano was handed over by Ocariz and then he said that he had been forced (...) He did it to look good and earn some points. A lie, they didn't force him! He gladly delivered it,” he revealed.

Juan Caguaripano was arrested in August 2017 after the assault on Fort Paramacay in Valencia. Ocariz tried to dissociate himself from the facts, later claiming to have been pressured or coerced to hand over the information.
