Cabello: Chavistas are ready for the elections called by the CNE

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said on Monday that the Chavistas are ready to participate in the elections on April 27 called by the National Electoral Council (CNE)

“There are people who are afraid of elections, there are people who like the path of violence, who have never had the electoral issue as their goal, we Chavistas report that we are ready, in compliance with the provisions of the regulations and the Constitution, to actively participate in these elections,” Cabello said during the PSUV press conference.

He assured that the Chavistas are not only ready to participate, but also to achieve a great Popular Victory.

“Sunday, April 27, will be the elections and whoever does not have espadrilles will buy them because what is coming is Joropo,” he said and pointed out to those who were going around that the CNE has already spoken out and set a date for one of the electoral processes that are due to take place in 2025.

He reaffirmed that these elections will be carried out by the CNE, the only entity with the competence to carry out this task. “These elections are not made by any parallel or criminal organization that the fascist sector of the Venezuelan opposition is used to.”

“Then we'll see you in April, whoever has the votes that wins,” he said and suggested that those who don't recognize the CNE and don't comply with the signed document should no longer participate in elections.
