The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that the revolutionary forces, together with all Venezuelans who are committed to peace in the country, will join the Christmas celebration starting in October.
“Christmas begins on the first (of October); for the bitter there won't be, according to them, but for us there will be, for the entire country,” he said during the PSUV press conference.
He stressed that, according to the polls, 93% of this nation “is not bitter” because they are the ones who bet on peace and respect for the sovereignty of the Fatherland.
He recalled that this sector that is betting that there will be no Christmas in Venezuela is the same one that “has insisted on calling for violence, calling for destabilizing actions and generating terrorist acts in our country.”
He emphasized that, despite these sectors, Christmas begins in Venezuela in October. “The Paseo de Los Próceres (in Caracas) is already being decorated (...) and all of Venezuela,” he said, stressing that our people always have reason to be happy.
“We always find a reason to be happy, no matter the situation, optimistic,” he said, stressing that our people are in permanent mobilization throughout the national territory to consolidate the popular-military-police fusion.
